On Saturday, October 12th, five members of the Rotaract club and Judy Hughes set out at 8am to clean up highway #173, otherwise known as Grove City Road. We cleaned from the intersection of Franklin Street and Grove City Road up to The Heights. We gathered twelve full bags of trash, making this a very successful morning! Josh Duman has been in contact with PennDOT about adopting this highway and we are hoping to have a sign erected recognizing our adoption of this area soon. We are all pleased with the outcome and agree that this is a project we would like to continue! Slippery Rock is a wonderful town that means so much to our club and we must work hard to keep it beautiful!
Josh Duman, Terry Thompson, A.J. Pagano, Mariah Seymour, and Susan Dalessandro ready to clean!
